My name is Kate Hames, and I am a passion-driven creator. For as long as I can remember, art has been my way of expressing how I see the world. A year and a half ago, I founded a clothing brand called ANOMALY CO. to inspire Christians to live as the light of the world by weaving Scripture into fashion. Over time, my passion deepened, leading me to advocate for women escaping trafficking and stepping into true freedom in Christ. No matter the medium, everything I create is intentional, down to the smallest detail. My work reflects the world I dream of—a world without darkness, where people create alongside their Creator, and where all walk freely in their God-given purpose.

A couple years ago my neighbor sue taught me how to sew. We would hangout everyday, listen to Jonny Mathis Christmas music (in the summer), and just enjoy each other's presence. That summer sewing was a very healing outlet for me.
As of late, sewing has continued to be a very creative outlet that has filled my time and pushed me to do things that I never thought myself capable. I am very thankful to ATLAS for believing in me and providing me the space to accomplish something I only dreamed possible.

From corporate tech packs to Hollywood couture, the multi passionate artist utilizes her colorful background - film, dance, writing, fine arts and more - to inspire and service dreamers like herself.
